Metalworks extreme

These are some of the spoons I've made over the years, most of them having something to do with oatmeal in one way or the other. The EVThing road at the top was part of a mile marker project, for a fictional company that made modular electric vehicles. The spoon is made from interchangeable modules, and is designed to be displayed dynamically so that it never looks exactly the same. Here is a basic example of how it works (refresh the page to rearrange the modules).

Benjamin Mermaid spoons and cutlery

When I feel like being in Bermuda, I dress up as spoon manufacturer, tea connoisseur and former international arms dealer Mr. Benjamin Mermaid Ph.D.

If you wish to have a look at some of Ben's cutlery work, check out his spoon portfolio at benjaminmermaid.com, or go visit his now-defunct weekly visual installation The Mermaid Report.
